Languages for the Washington knowledge test and driver guide
The Washington knowledge test is offered in 12 languages: English, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Russian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Arabic, Punjabi, Tagalog and Ukrainian.
Each driver training school decides which of these languages it offers. Ask the school or testing location whether it gives the test in your language before you book.
DOL does not say whether the knowledge test has a spoken (audio) version. DOL's accessibility page says you can ask a licensing office for headphones or audio-assistive devices.
The Washington Driver Guide, which you can use to study, is published in 17 languages: English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, Amharic, Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Punjabi, Somali, Tagalog and Ukrainian. There is also a plain-text English PDF.
DOL's online practice test is available in English and Spanish only.
