Booking a DMV office visit
You apply for the learner permit in person: bring your documents to your local DMV office.
Use DMV's office locator to search by city or ZIP code. Open "View Details" for an office to see its in-person services and to make an appointment. Appointments are not available at every office.
DMV strongly encourages making a reservation. When an office has long wait times, only people with a reservation are allowed in.
Some counties also have mobile office locations. The AAA locations shown in the locator serve AAA members only.
